Dental Veneers in Lahore: Types, Cost & Procedure
Dental veneers in Lahore are the long-term cosmetic fix for stained, chipped, uneven, or gappy front teeth. At Odonto, we place porcelain veneers and composite veneers across four material families — composite chairside, feldspathic porcelain, EMAX, and no-prep ultra-thin lumineers — chosen based on which teeth you want to change, your bite, and the shade you want long-term. The full dental veneers cost at Odonto starts from PKR 12,000 per tooth (composite). The veneers teeth price in pakistan for a 6-tooth porcelain smile makeover starts from PKR 270,000. Two to three visits over 2 weeks. No hidden charges.
PMDC certifiedA custom teeth cover bonded to the front of a tooth.
A dental veneer is a thin teeth cover bonded to the front surface of a tooth to change its shape, colour, length, or alignment. It is a fundamentally cosmetic treatment — used to design a smile, not to repair a damaged structural tooth.
Veneers are placed when the tooth is structurally sound but cosmetically compromised: a stain that won't whiten, a chip from an old fall, a peg-shaped lateral, a small gap, or an old composite that has gone yellow at the edge. Each veneer is custom-shaped to the tooth and bonded permanently with light-cured resin cement.
The four veneer materials we work with at Odonto — composite, feldspathic porcelain, EMAX, and no-prep lumineers — each have a distinct use case. The video on the right walks you through how each one is made and what it looks like fitted to a tooth.
Six smile concerns veneers reliably fix.
Not every cosmetic concern needs veneers — sometimes whitening or composite bonding is enough. But when one of these six issues is the main complaint, veneers usually deliver the most reliable, longest-lasting cosmetic result.
Stained or yellowed teeth that won't whiten
Tetracycline staining, fluorosis, and deep intrinsic discolouration often resist even professional whitening. Veneers for front teeth mask the colour reliably and give you a clean, even shade that lasts ten years or more.
A chipped or fractured front tooth
A single chipped upper incisor that ruins the smile line. One veneer (or composite for smaller chips) restores the edge predictably — usually in two visits with porcelain or one with composite.
Uneven tooth length or asymmetric smile
Worn-down central incisors, or one canine longer than the other. Veneers re-establish a balanced, even smile line — the kind that photographs well from every angle.
Small or peg-shaped lateral incisors
Genetically narrow or pointed lateral incisors create dark triangles either side of your central teeth. Veneers reshape them to match the adjacent teeth and close the visual gap.
A gap (diastema) between front teeth
A small to moderate front-tooth gap can be closed with two veneers in one or two visits — no aligners or braces needed. The result is fixed the same week, not over six months.
Old, failed composite bonding
Bonding from years ago that has stained, chipped, or pulled away from the gum. Porcelain veneers are usually the durable replacement — same shape but with a much longer service life.
Six reasons a veneer is worth the visit.
A well-designed veneer is one of the highest-leverage treatments in cosmetic dentistry — short procedure, decade-plus lifespan, and the difference between hiding your smile and using it.
Instant smile transformation
The single most cited reason patients book. Veneers change colour, shape, and length in two visits — the kind of change that would otherwise need years of orthodontics, whitening, and bonding combined.
Conservative tooth preparation
A veneer removes only 0.3–0.7 mm of enamel from the front surface. Compared to a crown — which removes 1.5 mm all around — a veneer preserves far more of your natural tooth structure.
Stain-resistant for a decade or more
Porcelain itself does not pick up coffee, tea, or red-wine stain. Once your veneers are the right shade, they stay that shade. The tea-coloured creep that natural enamel suffers does not happen to porcelain.
Strong enough for daily chewing
A bonded EMAX or zirconia veneer handles bite forces just like a natural front tooth. You eat normally from the day after bonding — including bread crusts, apples, and steak.
Lasts 10 to 15 years (porcelain)
A well-fitted porcelain veneer outlasts most cosmetic restorations in dentistry. Composite veneers last 5 to 8 years on average. Either way, the day-to-day cost-per-year of a veneer is lower than most patients expect.
Confidence in photographs and meetings
The most under-rated benefit. Most patients tell us within a month that they smile more in photographs, speak more freely in meetings, and stop covering their mouth when they laugh. The smile becomes invisible to think about.
Four veneers for front teeth options. One that fits.
We place porcelain veneers in three ceramic families plus same-day composite. Each type below — pros and cons listed honestly so you can pick what fits your case, your bite, and your budget.
Same-day, lowest costComposite veneers (chairside)
Sculpted directly on your teeth in a single visit using tooth-coloured resin. Lower cost, often reversible, and easy to repair. The best veneers teeth price in pakistan entry point — especially for one or two front teeth on a budget.
Workhorse cosmeticFeldspathic porcelain
Hand-layered feldspathic porcelain veneers made by a master ceramist. The reference for the cosmetic dentistry world for 30+ years. Excellent translucency, stain-resistant, and the right pick for moderate-budget smile makeovers.
Most popular · highest strengthEMAX (lithium disilicate)
A high-strength glass ceramic with translucency near natural enamel. The most popular porcelain veneers material in our clinic in 2026 — strong enough for moderate grinders, beautiful enough for the smile zone. The reference for full Hollywood smile cases.
Lumineers · no-prepNo-prep ultra-thin (Lumineers-style)
Lumineers-style ultra-thin porcelain bonded with little to no enamel removal. The most conservative veneer option — minimally reversible for the right candidate. Suitable when the natural teeth are already small or set back from the lip line.
Transparent pricing. No hidden charges.
The dental veneers cost at Odonto Lahore is fixed per material and per tooth. Prices below are all-inclusive: smile design, scan, temporaries, lab fabrication, try-in, and bonding. The free 15-minute smile consultation always includes a written quote before any tooth is prepared.

For 6 (smile zone) in emax.
Ten factors that shape your dental veneers cost.
Veneer pricing in Lahore looks confusing because the spread is so wide — PKR 4,000 at one clinic, PKR 80,000 at another. The ten factors below explain almost the whole difference.
Veneer material
Composite is cheapest, lumineers and EMAX are premium. Feldspathic porcelain sits in between. The single biggest factor in the per-tooth price.
Number of teeth in the plan
A single chipped tooth is the lowest case price. A 6-tooth smile zone is the most common smile-makeover scope. An 8 or 10-tooth Hollywood smile commands a multi-unit discount but raises the overall ticket.
Smile design and digital mock-up
A digital smile design (DSD) photograph and wax-up adds PKR 5,000–15,000 and is included free with porcelain plans of six teeth or more. For single-tooth composite cases it is usually skipped.
Whitening before veneers
If you want whiter natural teeth alongside the veneers, in-clinic whitening is done first so the porcelain shade is built to match the new baseline. Adds about PKR 8,000.
Dentist experience and cosmetic specialisation
A general dentist charges less than a cosmetic specialist. Cosmetic veneers — especially full smile makeovers — benefit from a dentist who places several cases a month, not several a year.
Government hospital vs private cosmetic clinic
Government dental hospitals do not typically offer cosmetic veneers as a routine service. Private clinics like Odonto charge full market price but you see a senior cosmetic dentist on the same week.
Lab tier and ceramist seniority
A senior master ceramist hand-layering feldspathic porcelain costs more than a milled CAD/CAM block. Both have a place — the master-built option is reserved for visible smile zone cases where translucency matters most.
Adjunct treatments (gum contouring, bonding)
A small number of cases need a 2-mm gum reshape (gingivectomy) before the veneers, or composite filling on the back of the tooth before bonding. Either is quoted separately at consultation.
Night guard included
For grinders, a custom night guard is essential to protect the veneers. We include a night guard at PKR 6,500 in every multi-unit plan — flagged separately so you see the line item.
Bonding cement and impression technique
Modern light-cured resin cement and digital intra-oral scans cost slightly more than putty impressions and chemical-cure cements but give a tighter margin and a longer-lasting bond. We default to the modern protocol.
Government dental hospital or private cosmetic clinic?
Both are legitimate options for general dentistry. For cosmetic veneers specifically, the comparison narrows quickly. Here's the honest picture so you pick the right one for your case.
Generally not the right fit for cosmetic veneers.
Lahore has good government and dental teaching hospitals — Mayo, Punjab Dental Hospital, public-sector dental departments. They are excellent for emergency dentistry and basic restorative work but cosmetic veneers are not usually offered as a routine service.
- ✓Significantly lower fees if veneers are offered at all
- ✓Excellent for emergency / restorative dentistry
- ×Cosmetic veneers rarely on the menu
- ×No digital smile design or wax-up trial
- ×Limited material choice — usually composite only
- ×Junior dentists or house officers do most of the work
Full menu, senior cosmetic dentist, digital smile design.
Private clinics like Odonto charge full market price but you see a senior cosmetic dentist on the same week, choose from any veneer material, and get a digital smile preview plus written quote before any tooth is touched.
- ✓Senior cosmetic dentist executes every case
- ✓Four material options including EMAX and lumineers
- ✓Digital smile design and wax-up trial included
- ✓Master-ceramist lab partner for porcelain cases
- ✓Written quote before any treatment begins
- ×Higher fees than government hospital
Cosmetic specialist or general dentist?
Most veneer work in Pakistan is done by general dentists with a cosmetic interest. Some cases benefit from a dedicated cosmetic dentist — someone who places multi-unit veneer cases every week, not every quarter. Here's when each is the right call.
The right choice for single-tooth and small-case work.
An experienced general dentist with cosmetic training places dozens of single-tooth veneer cases each year. For a chip repair, a single composite veneer, or a 2-tooth case, a senior general dentist is the right fit — and is what you get at Odonto by default.
- ✓Single-tooth composite or porcelain veneers
- ✓Diastema closure and small smile fixes
- ✓Chip repair and replacement of failed bonding
The right choice for full smile makeovers.
A cosmetic specialist is the better fit for 6+ tooth smile-makeover plans, Hollywood smiles, or complex shade-matching cases (tetracycline, fluorosis). At Odonto we place these cases under the senior cosmetic protocol — same dentist, same lab, same wax-up workflow as the most demanding aesthetic cases in the city.
- ✓6, 8, or 10-tooth smile makeovers
- ✓Hollywood smile / full upper transformations
- ✓Complex shade matching (tetracycline, fluorosis)
Front teeth only — why veneers stop at the canines.
Veneers are fundamentally an anterior-only treatment. Composite resin and bonded porcelain hold up well against the lighter chewing forces on the front teeth, but cannot survive the heavy grinding loads on molars and premolars. Below is exactly which teeth we will and will not veneer.
Upper and lower front six to eight teeth.
The four incisors (two centrals, two laterals) and two canines on the upper arch — and the matching six on the lower arch, plus first premolars in some smile-zone plans — are all suitable veneer candidates. These are the teeth that show in your smile and bear the lightest chewing forces.
- ✓Upper centrals — the most common veneer site
- ✓Upper laterals — peg-tooth correction
- ✓Upper canines — corner shaping
- ✓Upper first premolars (for wide-smile cases)
- ✓Lower front six — for visible-when-smiling cases
Premolars, molars, and structurally weak teeth.
Veneers on premolars and molars routinely fail within 12–24 months because the bite forces are too high. For back teeth that need cosmetic or restorative work, the right options are composite fillings, inlays, or crowns depending on damage size.
- ×Premolars (except first premolar in wide-smile cases)
- ×Molars — chewing forces too high
- ×Heavily filled or cracked teeth (use a crown)
- ×Root-canal-treated teeth (use a crown)
- ×Severe grinders without a night guard committed
Twelve steps. Two to three visits.
Every porcelain veneer case at our Lahore clinic follows the same protocol — whether it is a single tooth or a 10-tooth Hollywood smile. Composite chairside veneers compress steps 5 to 12 into a single visit. You see the work in a small mirror at every stage.
Smile design consultation
Wide-smile photographs from the front, side, and 45-degree angle. Discussion of what bothers you, what you want changed, and what is realistic with veneers vs alternative treatments. Free 15 minutes.
Digital smile design (DSD) preview
Your photos are imported into smile-design software. We propose tooth shape, length, and shade — and you approve, change, or reject before any tooth is touched. The single most important step in cosmetic veneers.
Shade selection in daylight
A shade guide is held against your natural teeth in north-facing daylight. You choose the target shade. We document with photographs so the lab matches it precisely.
Wax-up or mock-up trial
For multi-tooth plans, a trial veneer is sculpted in temporary composite directly on your teeth. You wear it home, see it in your mirror over a few days, and confirm — or adjust — before the lab fabricates the final.
Local anaesthesia (if needed)
For prep veneers, the gum and the tooth surface are numbed fully. You feel pressure during the prep, never sharp pain. Skipped entirely for no-prep lumineers and most composite-veneer cases.
Tooth preparation (0.3–0.7 mm)
A thin layer of enamel — about the thickness of a fingernail — is gently shaped from the front surface. Less for lumineers, more for EMAX. The prep stays in enamel for the strongest bond.
Digital scan or impression
An intra-oral scan or fine silicone impression captures the prep margins precisely. Sent the same day to the master ceramist — we work with one of Lahore's senior cosmetic labs.
Temporary veneers
Tooth-coloured temporaries are cemented to protect the prepared teeth and let you preview the new shape for 7 to 14 days. These are slightly bulkier than the final but hold up well for the wait.
Lab fabrication (master ceramist)
A senior ceramist hand-layers feldspathic porcelain or mills the EMAX block to your shade and translucency. Quality-checked under daylight before delivery. 7–14 days for porcelain.
Try-in with try-in paste
At visit three, the temporaries come off. Each veneer is tried with a glycerin try-in paste — you see the final colour and shape in a mirror, and we make any micro-adjustments before bonding.
Permanent bonding
Each veneer is cemented with light-cured resin. Etching, primer, and a precise cure cycle bond the porcelain to the enamel — a bond that, when done well, is stronger than the enamel itself.
Bite check, polish, and aftercare
A final bite check and polish smooth the margin. We hand you a printed aftercare sheet, the WhatsApp number, and book the 14-day review and the 6-month hygiene visit.
Six small habits that hold the result.
A veneer lasts as long as the gum at the margin stays healthy and the porcelain is not overloaded. Stick to the list below — both during the temporary week and long-term with the permanent veneers.
Floss daily at every veneer margin
The line where the porcelain meets your tooth at the gum is where decay starts. Two minutes of careful flossing daily protects every veneer for the long term — pull through, never lift up.
Brush gently with a non-abrasive paste
Soft-bristle brush, twice daily, with a low-abrasion fluoride paste. Avoid whitening pastes — they are abrasive and roughen the bonding margin over time.
Wear a night guard if you grind
Bruxism is the single biggest cause of veneer chipping and debonding. A custom night guard (PKR 6,500 at Odonto) extends veneer life dramatically and protects your other teeth in the same go.
Avoid biting hard objects directly
Don't bite ice, pen caps, fingernails, or open packets with your veneers. Composite or porcelain — neither is designed for sudden point loads.
Return for the 14-day check
A short check at two weeks lets us confirm the bite has settled, the gum is calm, and there are no early issues. No charge.
Schedule a 6-month hygiene visit
Routine cleaning around the veneer margin keeps the gum healthy and lets us catch any issue at the earliest possible point. Standard PKR 4,500 every six months.
Four habits that take a veneer from 10 years to 15.
Aftercare is what you do in the first month. Long-term maintenance is what you do for the next decade. The four below decide whether your veneers become the durable cosmetic restoration they are designed to be — or fail early.
Annual veneer photographs
We photograph every veneer at the 6-month and 12-month mark so we can track margin integrity year over year. Tiny changes are easy to fix at year one — much harder at year five.
Replace your night guard every 2–3 years
Custom guards wear out. A flattened or perforated guard is doing nothing for the veneers. We check the guard at every recall and only replace it when it is actually needed.
Treat your gums like the foundation they are
A veneer with a healthy gum around it lasts 15+ years. The same veneer over a gum-disease site can fail in five. Six-monthly scaling is the most under-rated lifespan factor.
Whiten your other teeth before, not after
Bleach changes natural tooth shade but not porcelain. If you want whiter teeth alongside your veneers, do whitening first so the porcelain shade is built to match.
Six things that could go wrong — and how we handle each.
No cosmetic restoration is risk-free. Most patients have a smooth recovery, but the six potential issues below are worth knowing about before you book — including how we mitigate each at our clinic.
Sensitivity for 1–7 days
Mild sensitivity to cold or pressure on the prepared teeth or the temporaries. Almost universal with prep veneers, almost always fades within a week.
Veneer debond (comes loose)
Rare with proper bonding protocol but does happen — usually from a heavy traumatic bite or sticky food. Easy to re-bond if the veneer comes off intact and is stored dry.
Chipped porcelain
EMAX and feldspathic can chip under unusual point loads (an olive pit, a fall, biting a fork). Small chips can sometimes be polished smooth without remaking; large chips need a new veneer.
Gum recession around the margin
After 5+ years, some patients see slight recession exposing the veneer margin. With well-bonded EMAX or zirconia, the cosmetic change is minimal. Aggressive brushing is the main avoidable cause.
Irreversible enamel removal (porcelain only)
Conventional porcelain veneers remove 0.3–0.7 mm of enamel — that change is permanent, even if the veneers are later removed. Composite and lumineers do not have this trade-off.
Underlying decay (long-term)
If plaque sits at the gum margin for years, decay can develop on the natural tooth just below the veneer. Often invisible until X-ray. Almost entirely prevented with daily flossing.
Three different fixes — one of them is right for your tooth.
For most front-tooth cosmetic concerns the choice is between a veneer, a crown, or composite bonding. Each has clear trade-offs in coverage, reversibility, durability, and price.

How much do dental veneers cost per tooth in Lahore?+
At Odonto, the dental veneers cost in Pakistan starts at PKR 12,000 per tooth for composite chairside veneers. Conventional feldspathic porcelain veneers are PKR 35,000 per tooth, EMAX (lithium disilicate) porcelain is PKR 45,000 per tooth, and no-prep ultra-thin lumineers are PKR 50,000 per tooth. These are per-tooth prices and include smile design, scan, temporary, and bonding.
A 6-tooth porcelain smile makeover starts from PKR 270,000, an 8-tooth from PKR 360,000, and a 10-tooth Hollywood smile from PKR 450,000. Use the cost calculator above for a realistic range — your free smile consultation always includes a written quote before any tooth is prepared.
What is the difference between porcelain and composite veneers?+
Composite veneers are sculpted directly on your teeth in a single visit using tooth-coloured resin. They cost less, are reversible, and last 5 to 8 years on average. Porcelain veneers are made in a lab from ceramic, take 2 to 3 visits over 2 weeks, look more natural, resist staining, and last 10 to 15 years.
For one or two front teeth on a budget, composite is excellent. For a full smile makeover that looks effortless for a decade, porcelain wins.
Will my dental veneers look natural?+
Yes — when planned properly. We start every case with a digital smile design that lets you see the proposed shape, length and shade BEFORE any tooth is touched. EMAX porcelain in particular has a translucency very close to natural enamel.
The biggest mistakes in veneers — too white, too long, too uniform — come from skipping the planning stage, not from the material itself. We always show you the wax-up before fabrication.
How many veneers do I need for a smile makeover?+
Most smile makeovers cover the smile zone — the teeth visible when you laugh. For most patients that is 6 teeth (upper canine to canine), 8 teeth (upper first premolar to first premolar), or 10 teeth (upper visible arch).
Single-tooth veneers are common too, usually to repair a chipped front tooth. We confirm the exact number at the consultation by photographing your wide smile.
Are dental veneers reversible?+
Conventional porcelain and composite veneers involve removing 0.3 to 0.7 mm of enamel — that change is permanent. No-prep ultra-thin lumineers remove little to no enamel and are considered minimally reversible.
We recommend treating veneers as a long-term commitment. The trade-off is that they let us correct shape, colour and alignment in a way bonding alone cannot.
Are veneers painful?+
No. Tooth preparation is done under local anaesthesia and most patients feel pressure rather than pain. There may be mild gum tenderness for 2 to 3 days afterwards, and slight cold sensitivity until the final veneers are bonded.
No-prep lumineers and composite chairside veneers usually need no anaesthesia at all — these are essentially painless from start to finish.
How long do dental veneers last?+
Porcelain and EMAX veneers typically last 10 to 15 years with good care. Composite veneers last 5 to 8 years on average and are easier to repair when they chip.
Lifespan depends on three things: gum hygiene at the veneer margins, whether you grind (a night guard adds years), and the trauma you put them through (biting nails, opening packets, ice).
Can I get veneers if I grind my teeth?+
Yes, but with a custom night guard. Bruxism is the single biggest cause of veneer chipping and debonding. We treat the grinding habit first (night guard, occlusal adjustment) and then plan the veneers — usually in EMAX or zirconia, which handle bite force better than feldspathic porcelain.
Severe grinders may be advised toward crowns rather than veneers for the most loaded teeth.
Veneers vs crowns — what is the difference?+
A veneer covers only the front face of the tooth (about 0.3–0.7 mm enamel removed). A crown covers the entire tooth, 360 degrees (about 1.5 mm removed all around). The veneer is more conservative; the crown is more protective.
For a structurally sound tooth with cosmetic issues, a veneer wins. For a tooth that is cracked, heavily filled, or root-canal-treated, a crown wins. We discuss both at consultation.
Veneers vs bonding — which is right for me?+
Composite bonding is a same-day, low-cost cosmetic treatment for small chips, gaps, or shape adjustments. It uses the same material as composite veneers but is sculpted in less detail. Porcelain veneers are a longer-lasting, more refined alternative.
For a single small chip, bonding is usually enough. For a multi-tooth smile makeover, veneers are usually the right call. See our dental bonding page for a deeper compare.
Can I get veneers on my back teeth?+
No — veneers are fundamentally a front-tooth treatment. Composite resin and porcelain veneers cannot reliably handle the chewing forces on premolars and molars. The bite forces on back teeth are 3–4 times higher than at the front.
For back teeth that need cosmetic or structural work, the right options are composite fillings, inlays/onlays, or crowns — not veneers. We will tell you straight if your case is not a veneer case.
Are there cheaper veneer options in Lahore I should consider?+
You will find clinics quoting PKR 4,000–8,000 for porcelain veneers — these are usually older feldspathic blocks or non-PMDC offerings. They have a place in budget cases but the bond strength and shade match are often weaker.
Government dental hospitals do not typically offer cosmetic veneers as a routine service. Private clinics in Lahore charge anywhere from PKR 12,000 to PKR 80,000 per tooth — Odonto sits in the affordable end of the senior-clinician range while keeping master-ceramist execution.

Dr. Mian Momin Ahmad
“The veneer itself is the easy part. The design conversation — what your smile looks like now versus what you want — is everything. Most disappointed veneer patients I meet did not lose to bad porcelain. They lost to a treatment that started before the conversation finished. We plan every smile digitally before any tooth is touched. You sign off on shape, length, and shade with photographs in front of you. The bonding visit is precise but unhurried. The decision is what we slow down for.”
What our veneer patients said about the visit.
Six recent reviews from patients who had veneer work done at Odonto. Names are accurate where the patient was happy to share them; treatment details and dates are real.
“Six EMAX veneers on the upper smile zone. Sat through the digital design before any tooth was touched and changed the length twice. The final smile looks exactly like the preview. Worth every rupee.”
“Chipped my front tooth playing cricket. One porcelain veneer, two visits, two weeks. Honestly cannot tell which one is the veneer — even friends could not pick it out.”
“I had a small gap between my front teeth my whole life. Composite veneers in a single visit closed it. Faster and cheaper than I expected — and the dentist was honest that this was the right option for my case.”
“8 EMAX veneers — Hollywood smile project. The wax-up trial week was the part I valued most. I lived with the new shape for five days before signing off. Best decision of my year.”
“Tetracycline staining since childhood. Porcelain veneers covered it cleanly. The shade Dr. Momin recommended was a half-step warmer than I would have picked — and he was right. Looks completely natural.”
“Came in expecting to need crowns. Left with a written quote for veneers — much more conservative. The honest opinion was what won me over.”
